Giving The Perfect Golf Gift That Will Make Any Golfer Swing!

Everyone knows at least one golfer with good golf grip in their life; and they know that golf is more than just a club and ball. Spoil that golfer and give them the perfect golf gift that will leave them in awe.

Golfing Essentials

Giving golf ball‘s and tees may sound like a stereotypical golf gift. However, just like pens and paper are important to a busy writer, golf balls and tees are equally as important to a golfer. Make them personal and fun by getting the golfer’s name engraved on it or a picture scanned on them.

Another great golf gift is to make your golfer look good. Upgrade their look with lightweight polo shirts, golf hats, and gloves. Golf clubs need to look just as good as the golfer and in order to be protected, they need golf club covers. You can choose from plain ones, monogrammed ones, and even humorous character covers.

Pricier Gifts

If you are able to splurge a bit for a golf gift, satisfy their dreams with top-rated, brand name golf clubs or golf shoes. The extra money spent on these gifts will make them feel extra special. You never know, it may also help improve their game. If you have great connections, a golfer’s dream come true would be private lessons from a professional. Some, however, may find that insulting. They would rather play a round of golf with someone famous. If both of those golf gift ideas are not a possibility, arrange a golf game with your golfer’s favorite people on a fancy course.

Gifts That Fit Any Budget

Giving the perfect golf gift does not necessarily mean you have to give something that is tangible. You can give the golfer in your life the gift of time and fun. Set up a day where you both can bond and play miniature golf (that is if you cannot play real golf). You can also volunteer your company and be their personal caddy for the day.

Want to give a great looking gift, even if the golf gift inside is a bit boring? Arrange golfing essentials in a gift basket. An inexpensive, great looking basket can include a polo shirt, towel, water bottle, sunscreen, golf balls, tees, and bagged snacks. Top the basket with a golf themed bow and you have the perfect golf gift!

Just because golfing may look like a dry cut sport to some that does not mean your golf gift has to be dry as well. Amazing golf gifts require a little imagination and special attention to making the gift personal. With that, the golfer with new golf swing in your life will be bragging about their gift on the driving range.

Simple Golf Swing: Keeps The Ball Properly In Play

When hitting a golf ball the first few times off the tee, the tendency is to try to emulate the golf professionals and crack off 300-yard drives, but the end result is usually kicking through the woods long for your ball. While the pros make it look easy, many beginners eventually realize that a simple golf swing can keep the ball in the fairway.

For anyone who has played the golf short game more than a few times, keeping the ball in the fairway is the best way to score low. A simple golf swing can help with that as not trying to kill the ball allows you to maintain your balance during the swing off the tee, as well as during subsequent shots leading to the green. A basic rule of thumb may be to keep it simple, keep it straight and unless you are trying to hit ball around a corner, hitting it straight with a simple golf swing can do wonders to lower your score.

Many different people take an individual approach to swinging a golf club, all with the same end result in mind, to hit the ball as far as you can and still keep it in play. Even most professionals use a simple new golf swing during tournament play, however it looks like they swing easy and hit hard.

Stick to the Basics for a Simple Golf Swing

Once you have addressed the ball and have your grip, the beginning of the backswing may dictate the success of striking the ball properly. A few people have the club head resting on the ground behind the ball and at take away, will lift the club slightly before beginning their backswing.

This slight movement has just ruined any chance you have of having a simple golf swing and allowing the club to follow the same path down as it took to get to the top of your backswing because you are not going to drop the club head that distance just before you make contact.

In a simple golf backswing, the take away should be the slow backward movement of the club away from the ball moving into the backswing to set the path on which the club will trace during the downswing. This gives you a better opportunity to make contact at the point at which the club is lined up to begin the backswing. Maintaining the same plan down as you established when going up.

Why I Like Playing Golf

Do you like golf? I know I do, but not for the reasons most people think. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy driving the ball from the tee and seeing it sail 300 yards down the center of the fairway. I like hitting a 3-iron 250 yards to the green, and I really like sinking 30-yard putts. But that isn’t why I play golf.

I play for the stress relief! Have you ever heard the phrase, “A bad day on the golf course is better than a good day at work?”

That statement is more true than most of us realize. If you play golf for relaxation and meditation, you will be less stressed. I even prefer to play by myself when I don’t have to be concerned with chasing someone else’s ball! (I have enough issues chasing my own).

You can learn to play golf by getting videos for less than $10. After that, try finding a starter set of golf clubs on Ebay, or at your local resale shop. You can probably develop a good golfing habit for less than $200 if you look around.

There is nothing like a relaxing day playing golf and enjoying some “me” time. You should try it as soon as spring rolls around. You never know, you may just get hooked!
